About the Concarneau Marine Station

The Concarneau Marine Station depends on the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, a public institution under the twofold supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and the Ministry of ecological transition and solidarity.

Visitation rules of the Marinarium

  • Photo shots and filming without a tripod or a flash is permitted.
  • Tapping on the aquarium windows is prohibited as the vibrations disturb our residents.
  • Drawing without or with an easel requires authorisation by e-mail: contact.concarneau@mnhn.fr
  • Eating, drinking and smoking is prohibited.
